This 1980 Porsche 911SC coupe is a RoW example that is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Grand Prix White over black leatherette. Equipment includes body-color 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a sunroof, a whale-tail rear spoiler, a driver’s sport seat, an M&K muffler, stainless-steel headers, Koni adjustable rear shocks, and an Alpine cassette stereo. The car was imported to the US in 1985 and acquired by the seller in 2020. The engine was rebuilt and fitted with a Carrera chain tensioner upgrade kit and Supertec head studs in 2021, and additional work that year consisted of replacing the fuel injectors, parking brake shoes, and left axle boots. This 911SC coupe is now offered with service records, spare parts, a car cover, and a South Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The car came finished from the factory in Grand Prix White (908) and was repainted under prior ownership. A whale-tail rear spoiler has been added, and the car is equipped with a sunroof and tinted windows. The seller notes rock chips and scratches on the body.

The 16″ Fuchs wheels with white centers are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Yokohama Advan tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors. Koni adjustable rear shocks have been added. A replacement brake master cylinder was installed in 2020, and the parking brake shoes and left axle boots were replaced in 2021. The seller notes pitting on the lips of the front wheels.

The cabin features a driver’s sport seat upholstered in black leatherette along with a matching passenger’s seat and fold-down rear seats. An Alpine cassette stereo is wired to an amplifier under the right seat as well as Alpine front and Kenwood rear speakers. The seller notes the carpeting was replaced in 2020.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 160-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 154k miles, approximately 1,800 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and has been fitted with an Earls aluminum oil cooler. The engine was rebuilt by Flat Edge Autoworks of Bluffton, South Carolina approximately 2,400 miles ago, at which time the cylinder heads were refreshed by Eagle Automotive, the pistons and cylinders were refurbished by US Chrome, and a Supertec head stud kit was installed along with a Sachs power clutch, a Carrera chain tensioner upgrade kit, an RSR-style engine mount, and a replacement alternator and oil crossover pipes. The fuel injectors and battery were replaced later that year along with adding sound deadening, and an oil change was performed in December 2022. The warm-up regulator was rebuilt and recalibrated in December 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle, and a receipt provided in the gallery indicates the gearbox was rebuilt in May 1994. Custom stainless-steel headers and and an M&K single-outlet muffler have been added. The heating components have been removed but are included in the sale.

The South Carolina title lists “Exempt” under the brands section.
