This 1978 Porsche 930 Turbo is a modified U.S. market example that is powered by a turbocharged flat-six reportedly fitted with 3.4-liter RUF Mahle pistons and cylinders, a Kokeln turbocharger and intercooler, and a B&B exhaust system with headers. A 915 five-speed manual transaxle, lightweight flywheel and clutch, and WEVO shifter have also been added, and further modifications include Smart Racing sway bars, a bump steer kit, Bilstein shocks, cross-drilled brake rotors, and 17″ RUF wheels. It is finished in Anthracite Grey Metallic, and the interior houses Sparco Torino seats, a roll bar, Rennline pedals, RS-style door panels, an Alcantara-wrapped dashboard, and a MOMO steering wheel. The car is said to have spent time in Arizona before being imported to Canada in 2012 and acquired by the selling dealer in 2023. This 930 Turbo shows 48k miles and is now offered in Washington by the selling dealer at no reserve with its order sheet, June 2023 service and inspection documents, and an Ohio title.

The car was ordered in Anthracite Grey Metallic via Porsche’s Sonderwuensche program and was reportedly repainted in 2018. Equipment includes H4 headlights, an oil cooler intake scoop, a sunroof, front fog lamps, headlight washers, dual side mirrors, rear fender stone guards, rear bumperettes, a front spoiler, and a “tea tray” rear spoiler.

The 17″ RUF wheels measure 9″ in width up front and 10″ wide out back, and they are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires sized 225/45 and 275/40 respectively. Cross-drilled rotors and Hawk performance brake pads have been installed. Suspension and steering upgrades are said to include Smart Racing 23mm front and rear sway bars with reinforced mounts, a hollow 22mm front torsion bar, an ERP bump steer kit, Bilstein shocks with upgraded spindles and front camber adjustments, and monoball rear bushings.

The cabin has been fitted with Sparco Torino front seats trimmed in black vinyl and gray fabric, along with an AutoPower roll bar and gray Sparco multi-point harnesses. The dashboard has been re-covered in gray Alcantara and a matching headliner has been fitted. The rear seats have been removed and RS-style door panels and carpets have been added, along with Rennline pedals and a Wevo shifter.

The three-spoke MOMO Corsa steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. A boost gauge has been added in place of the analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.

The turbocharged flat-six is said to have been modified with 3.4L RUF Mahle pistons and cylinders, a 7.5:1 compression ratio, and a Kokeln turbocharger and intercooler. According to the seller, additional equipment includes the following components:
