This BorgWarner K27 turbocharger was reportedly previously used for a Porsche 924 Turbo race car, and the accompanying aftermarket intercooler is said to be an Andial unit produced for use on a Porsche 930 Turbo model. The pieces were acquired by the seller in 2022. The BorgWarner K27 turbocharger is said to have been rebuilt under prior ownership, and the compressor housing has been modified with an extended outlet snout. The intercooler is constructed from aluminum. These Porsche Turbo components are now offered at no reserve in Tuxedo Park, New York.
The BorgWarner KKK K27 turbocharger is said to have been rebuilt under prior ownership. The aluminum compressor housing was modified with an extended outlet for use on a Porsche 924 race car, according to the seller. Corrosion is visible on the downpipe mounting studs.
The KKK production tag identifies the turbocharger as a K27 unit, and casting marks on the aluminum compressor and cast-iron turbine housing are shown in the gallery.
The intercooler is said to have been produced by Andial/Garretson and is constructed of aluminum with integrated mounting brackets and flared fittings. The unit retains a bare aluminum finish. Adhesive tape covers the air passages, and dents are visible on the cooling vanes.
