This 2002 Porsche 911 GT2 is one of just over 300 examples produced for the US market between 2002 and 2005 and is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black leather. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, the car is equipped with staggered-width 18″ alloy wheels, ceramic composite brakes, xenon headlights, power-adjustable sport seats, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. The car was delivered new in Hawaii, was sold on BaT in May 2018, and spent time in Montana, Germany, and Michigan prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2022. This 996 GT2 has 4,100 miles and is offered at no reserve by the selling dealer in Illinois with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title.

The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (X1), and GT2-specific bodywork includes a deeper front valance with enlarged air intakes and heat extractors, a fixed rear wing, a black lip spoiler, bi-xenon headlights, and quad exhaust outlets. The front bumper and hood were reportedly repainted under previous ownership to correct rock chips and scratches.

Staggered-width 18″ Turbo twist-style wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 235/40 up front and 315/30 in the rear. The GT2 weighed approximately 220 pounds less than the contemporary Turbo and was equipped with adjustable suspension components as well as stiffer springs and stabilizer bars. Porsche Stability Management was not available, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes were standard.

The interior features black leather seat upholstery that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable hard back sport seats, an aluminum-trimmed handbrake lever, Porsche-branded floor mats, automatic climate control, and a CD stereo.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames aluminum-dialed instrumentation that includes a central 8k-rpm tachometer as well as a 200-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 4,100 miles, a handful of which have been added by the selling dealer.

The twin-turbocharged Mezger 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 456 horsepower at 5,700 rpm and 457 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a double-inertia flywheel and a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.

The Certificate of Authenticity shows factory colors, options, and a total price of $182,420.
