This 2008 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 cabriolet was first delivered to Porsche of the Fox Valley in Appleton, Wisconsin, and later spent time in California before being acquired by the seller in 2022. Now with 52k miles, it is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Speed Yellow over black full leather. Features include 19″ Carrera S wheels, a black convertible soft top, bi-xenon headlights, heated front seats, PCM with navigation, Bose high-end sound, automatic climate control, and Speed Yellow seat belts and instrument dials. This 997.1 C4 cabriolet is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a DME report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The 997 Carrera 4 features wider rear bodywork when compared to the standard Carrera, and this example is finished in Speed Yellow with a black convertible soft top. Additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and stainless-steel exhaust finishers. Blemishes in the front end, above the left door handle, and in the soft top are shown up close in the gallery below.
The 19″ Carrera S wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires showing 2019 and 2021 date codes. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded four-piston calipers over 13″ cross-drilled and vented rotors. The car features a MacPherson strut front suspension with a multi-link LSA rear setup as well as front and rear stabilizer bars. The tire pressure sensors and wheel center caps were replaced in April 2023.
The cabin features heated front seats upholstered in black leather with Porsche crests debossed on the headrests, and matching leather extends to the dashboard and door panels. Interior amenities include Speed Yellow seat belts and trim, auto-dimming mirrors, PCM with navigation, the Bose High End Sound Package, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The trunk and decklid switches were replaced in April 2023, and the driver’s seat outer bolster shows wear.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Speed Yellow instrument dials consisting of a central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 52k miles, approximately 1,300 of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.6-liter flat-six features VarioCam Plus variable valve timing and was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Recent service has included replacing the driveshaft output seal in July 2022 and performing an oil change in April 2023.
Power is routed to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
