No Reserve: 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet for sale on BaT Auctions – ending October 29 (Lot #58,397)

This 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Metropol Blue leather and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes a Metropol Blue soft top, 18″ multi-piece wheels, a deployable rear spoiler, integrated fog lights, a Becker CD stereo, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2019 and subsequent service included replacement of the tires and a transmission mount as well as an oil change. This 996.2 cabriolet has 90k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve in Delaware with a window sticker, two keys, manufacturer’s literature, a tool and jack kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a Metropol Blue convertible soft top. Additional features include xenon headlights, fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers. The seller notes stretching of the convertible top at the bottom right corner of the rear window as well as miscellaneous scratches in the paint. The front bumper is believed to have been repainted under prior ownership, and paint meter readings are shown in the gallery.

The 18″ Sport Design wheels are wrapped in Sumitomo HTR Z5 tires measuring 225/40 up front and 285/30 out back that are said to have been fitted in preparation for sale. Curb rash is shown on the front left wheel. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded brake calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. A brake fluid flush was performed in April 2019, and the front a rear pads and rotors are said to have been replaced.

The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Metropol Blue leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. The car is equipped with the Comfort and Advance Technic packages, and additional features include a body-color console, driver-seat memory settings, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Becker Porsche CD stereo, navigation, a Hi-Fi sound system, and power windows and door locks. The car was factory-equipped with Maritime Blue seatbelts for the front and rear occupants.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 90k miles, 1,700 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.6-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The water pump was replaced in April 2018, and service in April 2019 included replacing the ignition coils and shift lever. Service by the selling dealer included replacing the transmission mount and an oil change.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transaxle.
