This 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe was acquired by the owner in 2011 and has since been modified to compete in autocross events. The car has been refinished in green and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed 915 manual transaxle and limited-slip differential. Modifications are said to consist of SSI heat exchangers, a Dansk sport muffler with GT3 tips, a performance tuning chip, a quick-release Momo steering wheel, and a single racing seat with three-point harness. The air conditioning system has been removed and a roll bar has been fitted. Suspension equipment reportedly includes custom-valved Bilstein sport shocks, Elephant adjustable spring plates, bearings, and torsion bars as well as Turbo tie rods and adjustable sway bars. The car spent time in Virginia and New York prior to the owner’s acquisition in Pennsylvania. This 911 Carrera is now offered on dealership consignment at no reserve with a Carfax report and a clean Pennsylvania title.

The car left the factory in Moss Green and is said to have been repainted in 2015 by the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The window seals and headliner were replaced at that time, and photos of the refinishing process are presented in the gallery below. Equipment includes a front lower spoiler, a whale tail rear spoiler, Euro-style bumpers, an electric sunroof, and manual Carrera II mirrors. The Carfax report lists a damage report in November 2003, noting that the car hit a deer.

Forged 16″ Fuchs wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back. The suspension is said to have been modified with custom-valved Bilstein sport shocks at each corner, Elephant adjustable spring plates and bearings, and Turbo tie rods with bump steer kit as well as front and rear Elephant torsion bars and Weltmeister adjustable sway bars. Service under current ownership has reportedly included replacing the wheel bearings, suspension bushings, rebuilding the brake calipers, and installing stainless steel brake lines. The spare tire has been removed.

The cockpit features a single bucket seat upholstered in black cloth that is fitted with a Scrhoth three-point harness. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed 915 manual transaxle that was reportedly rebuilt by Specialty Cars in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Additional work is said to have included the installation of Wevo transmission mounts along with replacement of the clutch assembly and pilot bearing bushing.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident in November 2003 and notes that an “Exceeds Mechanical Limits” title was issued by the state of Virginia in November 1996. A redacted copy of the current title is provided in the gallery.
