This 1983 Porsche 911SC coupe was purchased by the current owner in October 2013 and now shows 66k miles. The car is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Platinum Metallic over brown leather upholstery. Revised timing chain tensioners, Turbo tie rods, and an FVD Brombacher front strut brace have been added, and additional equipment includes 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a sunroof, a “whale tail” rear spoiler, power windows, and a Blaupunkt CD stereo. Work completed in preparation for the sale included converting the air conditioning system to utilize R134a refrigerant, adjusting the valves, and replacing the shifter bushings and coupler, tires, sunroof seals, washer fluid pump, pedal pads, and door switch covers. The 16″ Fuchs wheels with black centers wear Michelin Pilot Exalto tires that were mounted in preparation for the sale. The car was optioned with sport shocks, and Turbo tie rods and an FVD Brombacher front strut brace have been installed. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors. The brake fluid was changed in January 2024.

The pedal pads and door switch covers were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. The timing chain tensioners were upgraded to an oil pressure-fed design utilizing parts from a later model Carrera in June 2007. The thermostat and oil pressure switch were replaced in October 2016, and the valves were adjusted, the fan was refinished, the oil was changed, and the air filter was replaced in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The transmission synchros were replaced in October 2016, and the shifter bushings and coupler were replaced in January 2024.
