This 2007 Porsche 911 is one of 410 997.1 GT3 RS examples built for the US market during a two-year production run. It is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in orange over black leather. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, an aftermarket rear sway bar, a roll bar, the Sport Chrono Package, aftermarket fixed-back seats, 19″ black-finished alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, and automatic climate control. November 2021 service included an oil change and a replacement rear main seal, ignition coils, and spark plugs. This 997.1 GT3 RS has 8k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer with a DME report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The track-focused RS model features a carbon-fiber rear wing and wider quarter panels when compared to the standard 997 GT3. This example is finished in orange (N2) and features bi-xenon headlights, headlight washers, GT3 RS-script graphics, and LED taillights. Paint protection film is said to have been applied to the front of the car.
The 19″ black-finished alloy wheels are wrapped in 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport N2 tires. Braking is handled by yellow Porsche-branded calipers over ceramic-composite rotors. The car features a McPherson strut front suspension with a multi-link LSA rear setup, and a GMG sway bar is fitted at the rear.
The cabin features fixed-back bucket seats upholstered in black leather with Porsche crests embossed on the headrests. Additional appointments include a body-color center console and GMG Racing roll bar as well as the Chrono Sport package, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a central GT3-branded tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, a 225-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles.
The 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six features VarioCam variable valve timing as well as titanium connecting rods and dry-sump lubrication. It was factory rated at 415 horsepower and 299 lb-ft of torque. Service performed in preparation for the sale included an oil change and a replacement rear main seal, ignition coils, and spark plugs. A DME report is viewable in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage and lists registration history in California, Florida, Ohio, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
