This 2002 Porsche 911 GT2 is one of just over 300 examples produced for the US market between 2002 and 2005, and it is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black leather. Power is from a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and additional equipment includes staggered-width 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, ceramic composite brakes, xenon headlights, power-adjustable sport seats, a Becker-Porsche CDR-220 stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The car was offered on BaT in April 2020, and it now has 8k miles following its acquisition by the seller in June 2020. This 996 GT2 is offered with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, and GT2-specific bodywork includes a deeper front valance with enlarged air intakes and heat extractors, a fixed rear wing, and a black lip spoiler. Other features include bi-xenon headlights, tinted windows, and dual exhaust outlets. The hood was refinished and the seller notes a protective film was applied to the fenders, bumper, hood, and mirrors.

Staggered-width 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport N4 tires. The GT2 weighed approximately 220 pounds less than the contemporary Turbo and was equipped with adjustable suspension components as well as stiffer springs and stabilizer bars. Porsche Stability Management was not available, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes were standard.

The interior is upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels, and amenities include power-adjustable sport seats, a Becker-Porsche CDR-220 stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a central 8k-rpm tachometer as well as a 200-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles.

The twin-turbocharged Mezger 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 456 horsepower at 5,700 rpm and 457 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm. An oil change was performed in May 2022.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a double-inertia flywheel and a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Town Motor Car Corporation in Englewood, New Jersey, as well as factory equipment, options, and a total price of $184,685.
