This 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is a Canadian-market coupe that is said to have remained with its original owner until it was imported to the US in 2019. It is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. It is finished in Glacier White over gray leather and is equipped with the Motor Sound Package, front sport seats, 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, a power-operated sunroof, xenon headlights, cruise control, and air conditioning. The current owner purchased the car on BaT in April 2022 and has since added approximately 20 of the 48k kilometers (~30k miles) shown. This 993 C4S coupe is now offered on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, a tire inflation kit, service records, importation documents, a Porsche car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

The 993 C4S features wider rear bodywork in comparison with the standard Carrera as well as a front air dam derived from the contemporary Turbo. This example is finished in Glacier White and features xenon headlights with washers as well as fog lights, heated power-adjustable mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, black rear bumperettes, tinted windows, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The car underwent a paint correction in August 2022, and the selling dealer notes evidence of paintwork on the left-rear quarter panel.

The 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 225/40 up front and 285/30 out back. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by red-finished Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

The power height-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in gray leather complemented by carbon-fiber trim on the gear lever and handbrake handle. Amenities include a Becker Porsche CDR-210 stereo, a Hi-Fi sound system, cruise control, air conditioning, and Carrera 4S-branded stainless-steel door sill guards.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 300-km/h speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 48k kilometers (~30k miles), approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership.

The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The car is equipped with the optional Motor Sound Package which added a revised intake and mufflers. Work performed since 2019 has included repairing the distributor harness and replacing the battery, drive belts, filters, hood struts, spark plugs, and ignition wires.

Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.  The undercarriage was treated with dry ice in May 2022.
