2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R for sale on BaT Auctions – ending February 10 (Lot #135,656)

This 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R secured a pole position and fourth-place class finish at the 12 Hours of Bathurst in 2020 in addition to participating in other races across Asia as part of the Shanghai-based Absolute Racing team. The car was imported to the US in 2022 and subsequently acquired by the current owner, after which it was reportedly campaigned in several Historic Sports Car Racing and Rennsport Reunion events. The carbon-fiber composite bodywork wears a gold and black #911 livery, and power is provided by a 4.0-liter flat-six mated to a sequential six-speed constant-mesh transaxle with a mechanical differential lock. The race-prepped cockpit houses an FIA-approved roll cage, a Racetech seat, an adjustable pedal box, an in-car camera system, air conditioning, and a motorsport steering wheel, while other equipment includes 18″ BBS center-lock wheels, AP Racing brakes, an air-jack system, an adjustable rear wing, and an FT3 safety fuel cell. This GT3 R is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner in Georgia with service records, import documents, and a bill of sale.

The GT3 R is based on a 991.2 GT3 RS chassis and features a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) roof, front and rear lid, wheel arches, doors, and side and tail sections. This example wears a gold and black #911 Absolute Racing wrap with kangaroo graphics on either side of the car that was adhered in May 2023. Exterior details include front and rear tow hooks, LED headlights, removable polycarbonate windows, a front splitter, a roof escape hatch, an adjustable rear wing, a rear diffuser, and center-exhaust outlets. The rear frame and bodywork were repaired under previous ownership.

Forged 18″ BBS center-lock wheels measure 12.5″ wide up front and 13″ wide out back and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport racing slicks. The car is equipped with adjustable anti-roll bars at the front and rear along with electro-hydraulic steering, four-wheel air jacks, and Porsche Motorsport Traction Control (PMTC). Braking is handled by six and four-piston AP Racing aluminum monoblock calipers over ventilated and grooved steel rotors, the latter of which were replaced in October 2023. Imperfections in the wheel finish are pictured in the gallery below.

The 4.0-liter flat-six is based on the 991.2 GT3 RS engine and was factory rated at 550 horsepower without restrictors. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a sequential six-speed constant-mesh transaxle with a mechanical differential lock. The seller notes approximately 56 hours of engine run time and recommends overhauling the engine prior to track use.
