This 2009 Porsche 911 GT2 is one of approximately 20 US-market examples built for the model year and was purchased by the selling dealer on BaT in October 2022. Finished in black over black leather, the car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six linked to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include the Sport Chrono and Interior Carbon Packages, 19″ wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, Porsche Active Suspension Management, heated power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a six-disc CD changer, and a Bose sound system. This 997.1 GT2 has 17k miles and is now offered in Oregon with manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The GT2 is distinguished from the contemporary 997 by an aluminum trunk lid and doors, a fixed rear wing with integrated air intakes, a revised front bumper with enlarged inlets, and a front lip spoiler. Silver-finished 19″ wheels wear color Porsche crests and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport N2 tires measuring 235/35 up front and 325/30 at the rear. The GT2 is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and sits an inch lower than the contemporary 911 Turbo with stiffer damper and spring rates. The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) feature yellow six- and four-piston calipers along with cross-drilled rotors. The brake fluid was flushed in 2018.

The heated power-adjustable bucket seats are upholstered in black leather with Alcantara inserts, and matching upholstery extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior amenities include the Interior Carbon Package, cruise control, automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a six-disc CD changer, and a Bose surround-sound system.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as a 225-mph speedometer and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The Sport Chrono Package added a lap timer atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 17k miles, approximately 10 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 530 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs were replaced in 2018.
