2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Coupe for sale on BaT Auctions – ending May 19 (Lot #73,753)

This 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S coupe is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle, and it is finished in Guards Red over Savannah Beige full leather with deviating-color carpeting. Equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, 18″ 996 Turbo-look wheels, all-wheel drive, a sunroof, a Porsche CDR-220 stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The car spent time in Ohio, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida prior to its acquisition in June 2021 by the seller, who has since added approximately 3,600 of the car’s 100k indicated miles. An oil-fed IMS-bearing retrofit was reportedly performed under current ownership along with replacing the rear tires, rear main seal, and oil cooler. This 996 C4 coupe is now offered with the owner’s manual, two keys, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Guards Red (L84A) and features a sunroof, integrated fog lights, heated mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and stainless steel exhaust outlets. The seller notes that the spoiler bellows were replaced approximately 3k miles ago, and a paint correction was performed and a ceramic coating was applied to the bodywork in September 2021.

The 18″ 996 Turbo-look alloy wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires, and the rear tires are said to have been changed approximately 4k miles ago. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD). Braking is from vented and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The power steering fluid reservoir was reportedly replaced approximately 3k miles ago.

The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Savannah Beige leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels, and the cabin features deviating-color carpeting. Features include driver-seat memory settings, a Becker-Porsche CDR-220 stereo, a CD storage compartment, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, and fuel level. The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The seller reports that an oil-fed TuneRS IMS-bearing replacement kit was installed in September 2021, and other work at that time is said to have included replacing the rear main seal, oil cooler, and oil cooler seals. The fuel injectors were cleaned within the last 3k miles, and the engine mounts and ignition coils are said to have been changed approximately 20k miles ago. The seller notes the removed IMS bearing is included.
