This 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic over Classic Grey leather and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. The current owner purchased the car in November 2021, and they have since added approximately 300 of the under 7k miles shown. Equipment includes xenon headlights, 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, a fixed rear spoiler, a power sunroof, and power-adjustable front seats. The selling dealer states that work completed in January 2022 included replacing the bank-two lower valve cover gasket, high-pressure oil line, transaxle shift selector seal, oil return pipes, and spark plugs. This 993 Turbo is now offered in Ohio on dealer consignment with manufacturer’s literature and tools, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
The 993 Turbo featured wider bodywork, revised bumper covers, and a fixed rear spoiler to accommodate top-mount intercoolers when compared with the standard 993 coupe. This example is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic and features xenon headlights with washers as well as integrated fog lights, a power sunroof, a rear window wiper, and polished exhaust outlets. Photos of paint-meter readings around the body are provided in the gallery below.
The 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 225/40 up front and 285/30 out back. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Braking is provided by red Porsche-branded four-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors.
The seats are trimmed in Classic Grey leather that extends to the dashboard, door panels, and center console. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, an analog Quarz clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows under 7k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 408 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. The selling dealer states that work completed in January 2022 included replacing the bank-two lower valve cover gasket, high-pressure oil line, transaxle shift selector seal, oil return pipes, and spark plugs.
