1982 Porsche 911SC Targa for sale on BaT Auctions – ending January 6 (Lot #62,967)

This 1982 Porsche 911SC Targa is finished in black over tan leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include a removable Targa roof panel, an aftermarket head unit, a whale tail rear spoiler, fog lights, and black-finished 16″ alloy wheels. The car was reportedly acquired out of California by the seller in the mid-1990s and was subsequently relocated to Massachusetts. This 911SC Targa is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a Massachusetts title.

The body is finished in black and features a removable black Targa roof panel, a whale tail rear spoiler, “sugar scoop” headlights, fog lights, and US-specification impact bumpers. Blemishes are noted on the hood and bumper, and additional photos of the body and paint are provided in the gallery.

Basketweave-style 16″ alloy wheels are finished in black with anodized lips and are wrapped in Falken tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted ventilated discs.

The cabin features tan leather upholstery with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes an aftermarket CD head unit, power windows, and front and rear Porsche-branded floor mats. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat, and the seller states the air conditioning system does not work.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline, a 170-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 161k miles.

The 3.0-liter flat-six was rated at 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque when new. A Carrera oil cooler with an electric fan and a free-flow exhaust system are said to have been installed under current ownership, and the fuel pump was replaced in September 2019.
