This 1969 Porsche 911E is one of approximately 858 Targa examples produced for the model year and was acquired by the seller in 2018, reportedly following 49 years with its previous owner and a period of longterm storage. A subsequent mechanical refurbishment included an engine overhaul whereby 2.2-liter pistons and cylinder heads were fitted, the distributor was rebuilt, and suspension components were replaced. Equipment includes a removable black Targa panel, black leatherette upholstery, and a Blaupunkt push-button SW/AM/FM radio system. This 911E Targa is now offered with a Porsche Production Specifications certificate, service records, manufacturer’s literature, a tool roll, and a clean Indiana title in the name of the seller’s trust.

The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel level, and oil level. The five-digit mechanical odometer is said to have rolled over and now shows 34k miles, approximately 6k of which have been added during current ownership. The tachometer, speedometer, and clock were repaired by Palo Alto Speedometer Inc. in Palo Alto, California in May 2019. Total mileage is unknown.
