This 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle and is finished in Ultraviolet over black leather and Alcantara upholstery. Additional equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, Fabspeed exhaust components, a Fabspeed ECU tune, 20″ and 21″ center-lock alloy wheels, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, LED headlights, clear LED taillights, a rear spoiler, carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats, PCM with navigation, an Escort Max Ci 360 radar detector, JL Audio amplifiers, Focal speakers, a yellow roll cage, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus. The car was acquired by the seller in 2020 and has 18k miles. This 991.1 GT3 RS is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
Developed as a track-focused variant of the GT3, the RS is equipped with a magnesium roof panel, aluminum doors, a rear wing, and a carbon-fiber trunk lid, engine cover, and front fenders. This example is finished in Ultraviolet and features LED headlights and clear LED taillights. A paint protection film and ceramic coating are said to have been applied over the body. A dent is evident on the driver’s door panel.
The 20″ front and 21″ rear center-lock alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measuring 265/35 and 325/30, respectively. Braking is handled by yellow Porsche-branded calipers over ceramic-composite rotors. Standard GT3 RS equipment included rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus.
The cabin houses carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats trimmed in black leather and Alcantara upholstery in addition to yellow stitching. An Escort Max Ci 360 radar detector with front and rear laser jammers, a BlackVue 4K DR900X-2CH dash camera, an aftermarket reversing camera, a yellow roll cage, and Focal speakers linked to JL Audio amplifiers have been installed. Additional amenities include Porsche Communication Management with navigation, yellow seatbelts and door pulls, a fire extinguisher mounted on the passenger seat, cruise control, and GT3 RS-branded floor mats and door sills.
The three-spoke steering wheel features paddle shifters that wear red-finished carbon-fiber covers. Instrumentation consists of a central GT3 RS-branded tachometer as well as a 225-mph speedometer, an LCD screen, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter flat-six has been modified with a Fabspeed ECU tune and Fabspeed headers, exhaust, and catalytic converters. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus. The car was optioned with an extended range 23.9-gallon fuel tank.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and North Carolina. A manufacturer safety recall regarding the DME and TCU was issued in May 2023.
